Oscars 2020: The Complete List of Winners

The 92^nd Academy awards 2020 that took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night remained in Controversy for a long time due to various reasons be it having ‘no host’ to not featuring any female filmmakers in the nominations for best director. However, the award show was in the worldwide glimpse and took everyone’s attention towards itself.

Neon’s Parasite made history as the first non-English-language film to win the best picture at the Oscars. The film also nabbed four wins in total at the 92^nd Academy Awards, including best director for Bong Joon Ho, international feature film and original screenplay for Bong and co-writer Han Jin-won.

Warner Bros.’ Joker won in the lead actor category for Joaquin Phoenix and for original score. It earned the most nominations for any individual movie but only secured two awards.

Renée Zellweger claimed the best actress win for Roadside Attractions’ Judy. This was her second Oscar win (and fourth nomination) for Zellweger, who previously won best-supporting actress for “Cold Mountain.”

Brad Pitt is the Oscars 2020 winner for Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance as Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood! Other nominees for Actor in a Supporting Role included Tom Hanks in A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, Anthony Hopkins in THE TWO POPES, Al Pacino in THE Irishman.

Laura Dern is the Oscars 2020 winner for Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Nora Fanshaw in MARRIAGE Story.

India’s Oscar entry this year, Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, exited the race at the shortlist stage.
