Our Spirit Needs To Continue For Win On Corona: KCR

CM KCR urged the people of the state to cooperate with the lockdown, which was being implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with the same spirit. He said the people infected by the virus were identified and being given treatment and those who came in contact with them were quarantined.
He held a high-level review meeting on Friday at Pragathi Bhavan on the treatment given to those contracted with corona, implementation of the lockdown and agriculture-related programs.
The CM instructed the officials concerned to ensure that there was no scarcity of essential commodities. Harvesting of paddy, procurement of agriculture produce and other agriculture-related activities should go on as usual.
Rao also directed them to implement the lockdown strictly. "Only by proper implementation of the lockdown, the virus could not spread, as it did in other countries."
"Ensure the supply of essential commodities such as milk, fruits, vegetables, medicines, and meat and see that social distancing is maintained at shops," he said.
The CM urged people to maintain social distancing when they come to collect free rice through fair price shops and asked them to turn up at the designated time.
He wanted proper maintenance of procurement centers of agricultural produce in villages and urged farmers to come to sell their paddy at the designated time.
The CM directed officials to monitor the camps arranged for the migrant labor in the urban areas and the assistance given there. The meeting also discussed the matters to be mentioned at the CM’s conference with PM Modi and also the issues to be placed before the Special Cabinet meeting on Saturday afternoon.
