PM Makes A Vain Bid To Project Top-Performer Telangana In Poor Light

By maintaining a strategic silence despite Telangana's repeated appeals for funding, PM Narendra Modi attempted to portray the State in poor light, particularly in terms of development.
This was even when BJP Government agencies and organizations ranked Telangana as the best performer ranging from the best villages to the 4th most significant contributor to the nation’s economy.
Addressing BJP workers and leaders at Begumpet airport, the PM delivered a political speech rather than sharing his Telangana development plans.
PM had even gone to the extent of accusing the Govt of renaming the BJP Govtt programs in the State. The PM seemed to have conveniently ignored that many central programs were launched after being inspired by programmes established by the KCR Government. “Har Ghar Jal” programme was launched following the success of Mission Bhagiratha. Similarly, PM- KISAN Yojana was introduced after State Govt’s Rythu Bandhu scheme.
Stating that BJP was committed to the ideals of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,” the PM said to ensure Telangana’s development, the BJP would fight to the extreme, he said.
The PM said India’s economic development was progressing rapidly, and it was the 3rd largest startup ecosystem in the world.
India's success in technology is the key to its growth. Telangana's youth can't be ignored when it comes to technology, and it must be given more opportunities, Modi said.
“During my visit to Telangana, especially in 2013, you have always extended a warm welcome, and I am thankful for the love and affection,” said PM Modi.
