Navratri, which began on September 22 and will conclude on October 2, is one of India’s most widely celebrated festivals. Each of its nine days honors a different manifestation of Goddess Durga. Devotees across the country observe fasting, participate in special prayers, and throng temples to seek divine blessings. On the second day, worship is dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini, believed to reside in the Svadhishthana Chakra and revered as the epitome of purity and devotion.
The festival also carries a strong cultural and spiritual significance, with communities coming together for rituals, processions, and devotional music. For many, it is a time of both personal reflection and collective celebration, reinforcing faith and unity across India.
