PM Modi To Make Worldwide Address At India Global Week 2020

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a major worldwide address, expected to focus on India’s trade and foreign investment prospects, at India Global Week 2020 organised in the UK from Thursday.
It is to be one of the biggest international events on India’s globalisation, the event will begin on 9 July and will focus on India’s trade, foreign investment prospects and manufacturing opportunities.
There will be a total of 75 sessions which will cover a wide array of themes, such as geopolitics, business, emerging technologies, banking and finance, pharma, defence and security, and arts and culture.
The summit will be held on a virtual platform given. It will see eminent speakers like External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Railways and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Civil Aviation and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Skill Development Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, from India. New Indian High Commissioner to the UK Gaitri Kumar will also address the event later this week.
Prince Charles of Wales will make a special address at the event on the UK side along with speakers including Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, Home Secretary Priti Patel, Health Secretary Matt Hancock, and International Trade Secretary Liz Truss.
