PM Modi on Congress Moves and BJP's Southern Strategy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a jab at the Congress, suggesting that Rahul Gandhi might contest from a different seat after the voting in Wayanad on April 26, hinting at the party's uncertainty in retaining the key constituency of Amethi. Modi also commented on former Congress president Sonia Gandhi's shift to the Rajya Sabha, implying a strategic move by the party.

In a rally in Maharashtra, Modi predicted Rahul Gandhi's loss in Wayanad, similar to his defeat in Amethi in 2019, prompting speculation about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contesting from Rae Bareli. Meanwhile, the BJP has been mocking the Congress over indecision regarding Amethi, while the Congress-SP alliance gears up for the polls in Uttar Pradesh.

Modi also highlighted the BJP's increasing vote share in South India, expressing confidence in the party's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to serving every part of the country, including Kerala, despite facing challenges, and reiterated the party's dedication to national service.
