Panchatatva Walk At Indira Park Soon

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has come up with a1 Acre walking track at Indira Park based on the theme ‘Acupressure’ which is now underway and will be soon available for the use by the local public.
It will be a therapeutic garden that will feature ‘Panchatatva walk’, which is based on the concept of acupressure. The concept is a circular track including eight components with 20mm stone, 10mm stone, river stone, 6mm chips, rough sand, tree bark, black soil and water and is developed on the basis of five elements of nature (Panchabhutas) — Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space.
The inspiration for the park comes from a video of our prime minister Shri Narendra Modi wherein he was seen performing yoga during a ‘fitness challenge’ in a park that had a similar setup. Apart from this, all 40 varieties of medicinal and herbal plants which are in regular use at our homes will be displayed or planted within the circle around which the track will be laid.
Local people have appreciated the move and are ready to bring in their support to contributing everything they could. One of the senior citizen, was elated when he heard about the development and said, “Many senior citizens visit Indira Park and quite a few have knee joint problems. This initiative by the GHMC is good.”
