Pawan Kalyan Donates Rs 1 Crore to Telangana CM's Relief Fund for Flood Victims
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday to present a cheque for Rs 1 crore towards the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The donation is meant to support relief efforts for flood-affected areas in the state.
Kalyan had previously pledged a total of Rs 6 crore in donations for flood relief across Telugu states, including Rs 1 crore each for the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief Funds. Additionally, he committed Rs 4 crore to aid 400 flood-impacted villages in Andhra Pradesh.
During their meeting, the two leaders reportedly discussed inter-state relations and other pertinent issues. This meeting marks their first since Pawan Kalyan took office as Deputy Chief Minister following the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance’s sweeping victory in the Andhra Pradesh elections. They last met after Revanth Reddy was appointed Chief Minister of Telangana in December.
While both leaders extended mutual congratulations upon their respective appointments, Kalyan has previously expressed hopes that Revanth Reddy would lead Telangana towards further development, addressing the aspirations of its people.
