Pawan Kalyan Faces Police Cases Over Controversial Comments!
Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the Jana Sena Party, finds himself in legal trouble as Vijayawada Krishna Lanka Police have registered multiple cases against him. The complaint was filed by Digamanti Suresh Babu, an employee at the 228 secretariat in the city. The case was registered under Sections 153, 153A, and 505(2) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) in response to Janasena's comments regarding volunteers during the Eluru Varahi Yatra.
The charges against Pawan Kalyan suggest that his comments posed a potential danger of clashes between two groups, thereby threatening peace and security. Volunteers have been staging protests against Pawan for the past four days. Pawan's critical remarks about the volunteer system have raised concerns about the collection and potential misuse of personal data gathered by these volunteers. He questioned the destination of the data collected from 6 crore Andhra people, the FOA agency's involvement in Nanakram Guda, and the employment and payment details of 700 people in that organization.
Addressing the controversy, Pawan Kalyan emphasized that his comments were not directed at all volunteers but aimed at highlighting potential privacy and security risks. He expressed his support for volunteers, stating that if his party came to power, they would supplement the government's Rs. 5,000 allowances to volunteers with an additional Rs. 5,000. However, he alleged that some volunteers were engaging in wrongful activities, including targeting single women, causing distress among the public.
Additionally, Pawan Kalyan raised concerns about the treatment of Anganwadi workers and referenced the unfortunate incident where an Anganwadi worker named Hanumayamma was killed in Prakasam district. He voiced his intention to file multiple cases against those responsible. Pawan also addressed a controversy involving Jagan's wife, Bharti, denying any mention of her and questioning Jagan's mention of marriage during children's assembly sessions.
Furthermore, recent developments reveal that the Andhra Pradesh police have filed another case against Pawan Kalyan. The case relates to his unconventional mode of transportation during his visit to Ippatam, where he interacted with residents affected by the government's road widening program. A viral video showcased Pawan traveling on the top of his car on a highway, leading to allegations of dangerous conduct. The case registered at Tadepalli police station, includes charges under IPC 336 and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act against Pawan, as well as against his driver for dangerous driving charges.
The Andhra Pradesh police department has faced criticism on social media for allegedly favoring the ruling YSRC government. Pawan Kalyan has been vocal about these concerns for some time, and the recent police complaints against him have further heightened the public discourse. The legal proceedings will shed light on the allegations and determine the course of action against the Jana Sena party leader.
