Pawan Kalyan Helps Woman Stranded in Oman Return Safely Home
A woman stranded in Oman has safely returned to Andhra Pradesh after receiving support through the intervention of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The incident began when Shanawaz, a resident of Vayalpadu in Annamayya district, shared an emotional video on social media seeking urgent assistance to return to India after facing severe difficulties abroad.
Her appeal quickly attracted attention online and eventually reached Pawan Kalyan. Deeply moved by her situation, he immediately responded and requested the Ministry of External Affairs to take necessary steps to ensure her safety and return. Following his intervention, officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Muscat, and authorities in Oman coordinated efforts to arrange her safe travel back to India.
Shanawaz arrived safely in Hyderabad and later visited Pawan Kalyan’s office to personally express her gratitude. She was then sent safely to her hometown in Vayalpadu. The incident has since been widely appreciated as an example of quick humanitarian response and effective coordination between government agencies.
Sharing details about the rescue effort, Pawan Kalyan thanked the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Muscat, Oman authorities, Janasena Gulf members, NDA alliance workers, and the APNRT Association for their support throughout the process. He also acknowledged the continued support of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Pawan Kalyan stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the NDA government has consistently stood by Indians living abroad during times of crisis. Referring to situations such as the Ukraine war and tensions in the Middle East, he said the Government of India has repeatedly taken extraordinary measures to rescue and protect Indian citizens worldwide.
He also delivered a reassuring message to Indians living overseas, saying that no citizen facing hardship abroad is alone and that both the central and Andhra Pradesh governments remain committed to helping and protecting people in distress wherever they may be.
