Pawan Kalyan Issues Alert on Terror Threats, Urges Vigilance Across Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has sounded an alarm over possible terror-related activities in the state, urging law enforcement and administrative officials to remain on high alert. In a strong message underscoring the importance of national security, Kalyan emphasized the need for heightened vigilance against potential terrorist threats and the activities of sleeper cells across all districts.
Following the recent success of Operation Sindoor, Kalyan stated that constant alertness and coordination among various government departments are now more critical than ever. He has formally communicated his concerns through letters to the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP), offering specific suggestions to strengthen counter-terrorism measures.
The urgency of his message comes in the wake of a significant arrest in Vizianagaram, where intelligence agencies from the Telugu states apprehended a youth with suspected ties to the Islamic State (IS) who was allegedly plotting bomb attacks. Kalyan stressed that this incident is a clear warning signal and called for intensified action by the state police to prevent any such threats.
He also directed officials to monitor the presence and movement of terrorist sympathizers, sleeper cells, illegal immigrants, and Rohingyas. All suspicious activities or individuals must be reported immediately to higher authorities, and thorough investigations should be carried out without delay.
Reiterating the seriousness of the threat, Kalyan called for proactive measures and a coordinated effort between intelligence, law enforcement, and administrative departments to safeguard the state's security. His directive aims to build a robust mechanism to detect and neutralize terror threats before they can materialize.
