Pawan Kalyan Questions Taxes On Hindu Temples!

Pawan Kalyan started opposing the idea of the Jagan government about introducing the English Medium in govt schools, since the announcement. Though many people opposed the move initially, they started neglecting it later. But, Pawan is the one who is continuously struggling on the matter. However, Pawan’s struggle got a mixed response as many are questioning why his children are studying in English medium school when he loves Telugu so much!
Meanwhile, Pawan started speaking on another issue regarding the taxes that the government is levying on Hindu temples. Recently, the head priest of Chilukur Balaji temple, Shri Rangarajan questioned why the secular government is not charging any taxes to churches or any other sacred places related to other communities when they are taking about 1/3rd of Hindu temples’ income in the form of different taxes. “23.5 percent taxes are being levied on temple revenues, of which 15 percent as Endowment Tax, 2 percent Audit Fee and another 2 percent Common Good Fund,” he said.
In addition, Priests Welfare Fund and other taxes are cutting down the incomes of temples. "As per Article 26 and 27, the government should not tax on revenues of religious organizations. Then why only Temples are being taxed. Please answer to this simple question," Shri Rangarajan questioned. Supporting this, Pawan Kalyan has shared the video and also the translated version of Shri Rangarajan’s words on Twitter.
