Pawan Kalyan Responds To Amalapuram Violence

Pawan Kalyan, the Jana Sena chief, reacted to the violence in Konaseema district. He told the media that the state had divided the districts a few days ago, noting that a policy had been set for all districts and a special policy had been adopted for Konaseema. According to Pawan Kalyan, the district should have been named after Ambedkar on the day the districts were named.
The chief made it clear that he is not opposed to naming national-level leaders and recalled that the Kadapa district was named after YSR, and Nellore was named after the Potti Sriramulu.
Pawan Kalyan advised the govt to think in all directions when making a policy decision. Pawan Kalyan questioned why the government had renamed the district now and asked the people to raise objections within 30 days.
According to the actor-turned-politician, Konaseema culture had a greater impact on the district than British culture. The Jana Sena chief further stated that the violence was pre-planned to divert attention from the issue of the murder of a Dalit man in which a YSRCP MLC was involved.
