Pawan Kalyan aims for chief minister of Andhra Pradesh
Pawan Kalyan, speaking to the media, recalled how Kumaraswamy became chief minister of Karnataka with only 30 seats and said that if the JSP had won 40 seats in 2019, he too would have requested the gaddi of chief minister.
On Thursday, Pawan Kalyan, head of the Jana Sena Party and a popular actor, made it clear in Mangalagiri that he wants to be the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He told reporters that if the JSP had won 40 seats in 2019, he too would have requested the gaddi of chief minister, exactly like Kumaraswamy did in Karnataka with only 30 seats.
He reaffirmed his intention to form electoral coalitions, explaining that he still had a great deal of regard for communist parties but saw the necessity to work with those that could actually affect elections. In the past, BRS was able to fortify itself through poll pacts. The BJP, which is doing well, formed electoral alliances, and this strategy helped several parties gain power.
