Pawan Kalyan will meet with BJP leaders to discuss the Telangana assembly elections alliance
Alongside BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy and party OBC Morcha national president K. Laxman, Jana Sena president PawanKalyan is scheduled to meet with senior BJP leaders in Delhi today to discuss the alliance between the two parties. The possibility of fielding common candidates, including for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, is anticipated to be discussed at the meeting.
The leaders of the Jana Sena have previously declared their intention to run for 32 seats. As a result, a collaborative competition between the two entities is considered to be advantageous. Additionally, BJP leaders have weighed in on the subject; Kishan Reddy and Laxman discussed the possibility of an alliance with PawanKalyan just recently.
The resolution of the Wednesday meeting will furnish lucidity regarding the alliance and the approach to be taken in the Telangana elections. It may be recalled that last week, Lakshman, the state president of the BJP, and Kishan Reddy met with PawanKalyan to discuss the alliance in rudimentary stages. It is uncertain whether the Jana Sena and the BJP would run together in the election.
