Pehlwaan Telugu Official Trailer Out!

Sudeep starrer Pehlwaan is an upcoming Kannada action drama which is also being dubbed into Telugu and Hindi. The trailer of the film has been released today in both languages. In Telugu, the trailer has got 63K views on YouTube within a few minutes. In the trailer, we can see Sudeep as both wrestler and boxer. Actress Aakanksha Singh is playing the female lead in the film while Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty is going to be seen in a crucial role. This is the debut film for Sunil Shetty in Kannada.

Directed by S. Krishna, the film is going to hit the screens on September 12^th. On the very next day, Varun Tej’s Valmiki is also getting released. This film is really a tough competition for Sudeep’s Pehlwaan. Swapna Krishna is producing the film while Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is distributing it in Telugu. Arjun Janya has composed the tunes for the film while Ramajogayya Sastry penned lyrics for all the songs in Telugu. Director Krishna and Sudeep had worked together for ‘Hebbuli’ which is a blockbuster. And now, they have joined hands together for Pehlwaan. So people have a lot of expectations on the film.

Sudeep entered Tollywood through the film ‘Rakta Charitra 1’ in which he was seen as Deputy Commissioner of Police. And then he played the same role in Rakta Charitra 2. But, those films didn’t help him gain a fan base in Telugu. And then, in 2012, he acted as a villain in Rajamouli’s film ‘Eega’. With his performance as a womanizer and villain, he had impressed Telugu audience. He was also seen in Baahubali: The Beginning and will be playing an important role in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
