Plans for growth by Goldman Sachs in Hyderabad
American international banking and financial behemoth Goldman Sachs will shortly open a new, eight-story office in Hyderabad, bringing the total number of employees there to 3,000.
Goldman Sachs' investment is projected to have a positive impact on Hyderabad's banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) industry. The Goldman Sachs office in Hyderabad now employs 1000 people.
The corporation will open its new eight-story headquarters with 2,000 experts, according to the most recent development plan, bringing the number of employees in Hyderabad to 3000. According to a formal announcement, the new office will establish itself as a center of excellence for platform engineering, business analytics, and consumer banking services.
On Wednesday in New York, T and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao met with Goldman Sachs executives. Later, Rama Rao said that the Telangana government's attempts to make Hyderabad a preferred location for BFSI companies were having a favorable impact. He said that efforts to support the BFSI sector had greatly boosted Hyderabad's appeal as a financial center and that Goldman Sachs' expansion will further solidify Hyderabad's status as a BFSI hub.
According to Goldman Sachs, the new location will act as a crucial innovation centre for many aspects of the company's operations, further strengthening its image throughout the world. The Telangana government's progressive policies, Hyderabad's robust BFSI ecosystem, and this city's investment-friendly atmosphere had all encouraged the company to extend its activities here.
