Politics Behind Vijay D’s Dear Comrade

Dear Comrade is a passionate project for Vijay Devarakonda. He had many hopes on the film but everything went in vain after the film got a bad reputation. He expected that the film becomes a super hit, but unfortunately, it remained as a failure, despite getting praises from a few critics.
Recently, Vijay gave an interview to popular film critics Baradwaj Rangan and Anupama Chopra in which he explained how the failure of Dear Comrade affected him. Vijay said that there is propaganda where a film can be written off and how the media has the ability to give negative publicity for a film on social media.
Vijay said that there is a business aspect and politics around the film put him off. However, he recovered from it slowly after understanding that the world is like that. “This is how the world is, fair to none.’ It’s like a jungle, you have to fight for your survival,” the actor said.
Also, recently, Vijay sometime back slammed a media channel which claimed that Vijay is collecting donations for the people during the lockdown and not providing proper proofs. Vijay is going to be seen in the film ‘Fighter’ which is being directed by Puri Jagannath. Bollywood beauty Ananya Pandey is playing the leading lady. This film will also be released in Hindi.
