President Trump receives USD 19 billion as relief fund bill from Congress
After a long wait, President Trump received USD 19.1 billion relief fund from the Congress. The fund bill was approved by the Congress in favor of offering assistance to the people suffering drastic consequences on account of natural calamities like hurricanes, wildfires, and flooding.
The relief fund is expected to offer aid to the population suffering devastations across the US from Puerto Rico till California State. The major decision was made by the Congressman on 3rd. June 2019, in favor of Trump Administration.
The special relief bill was officially passed at the House of Representatives only after it resumed the normal working session, after a long break. The new law is expected to be signed by President Trump within a short period of time, once it has been approved by the Administration.
As per new implementations, the bill is expected to offer to fund to rural communities, infrastructure development projects, and mitigation at the time of disaster management. It will be effective for offering a helping hand to the affected US Island regions nearby to Texas State, California, South and North Carolina and Puerto Rico.
Under the same bill, a relief fund of USD 3 billion will also be offered to state farmers who might have been suffered consequences on account of crop damage during a natural disaster.
The congressman managed to win maximum votes in favor of the bill being passed in the administration for implementation. As per Trump is concerned, the fund allocated for Puerto Rico was much greater in amount.
The White House has also confirmed that President Trump was currently willing to approve the offer made by the Congress. This step was taken by the Administration only after President Trump entered into a deal with Democratic leaders and Republicans within the US.
