Rahul Gandhi’s Criticism on ‘Vande Bharat Express’ Hurts Modi!
Congress President Rahul Gandhi criticized semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express after it developed snag on its return journey from Varanasi to New Delhi, the very next day of its launch!
“Modi Ji, I think Make in India needs a serious rethink. Most people feel it has failed. I assure you we in the Congress are thinking very deeply about how it will be done,” Rahul Gandhi said.
“After the inauguration, fumes were seen in Vande Bharat train, power failure inside coaches, snag developed in brakes after which train came to a halt. Vande Bharat is a story of development. Farmers are angry, youths are unemployed, the security system has collapsed and country’s economy shattered,” Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav tweeted.
Modi, who had hurt on this, slammed Rahul for insulting and mocking engineers and technicians. “Should they (Rahul) not be given right punishment at the right time,” Modi questioned.
Modi praised engineers and technicians for their hard work and asked them not to get demoralized with the negativity surrounded them.
