Rajpal Yadav Thanks Fans After Interim Bail in ₹9 Crore Case
Actor Rajpal Yadav addressed the media after receiving interim relief from the Delhi High Court in a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case. His sentence has been suspended until March 18, subject to legal conditions.
The court, under Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, directed him to furnish a personal bond of ₹1 lakh along with a surety of the same amount. Reports indicate that ₹1.5 crore has been deposited in the complainant’s account, M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd, as part of proceedings.
Speaking briefly to reporters, Rajpal expressed gratitude to Bollywood and fans nationwide. Reflecting on his three-decade-long journey in cinema, he said the love of audiences enabled him to work in over 200 films. He affirmed his commitment to complying with all court directives, stating that he has appeared whenever summoned since the case began in 2012.
The actor emphasized that he remains fully available for legal proceedings and thanked the High Court for granting him an opportunity to be heard. His composed public appearance and message of appreciation have drawn attention, as the case continues through the judicial process.
