Rakul Comes Up With A Noble Decision

The celebrities from the film industry are donating the money for the help of the needy people. Tollywood has set up a Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) to help the daily wage workers of Telugu cinema. Bollywood has come up with a similar trust.

While a lot is being said about how the actresses from the entertainment field are not coming forward to help the poor people in this lockdown period, Rakul Preet Singh, who is active in Bollywood and Tollywood, has taken a noble decision.

Rakul Preet Singh has always believed in giving back to society. And today, when the country is under the lockdown and many are struggling to get their basic meals, she has decided to help over 200 families living in a slum close to her Gurgaon home. Her family will be preparing the food in her society and distributing it to these families.

During the media interaction, Dhruva actress said, “We are providing two meals a day for all those people and we have decided to do it till the time the lockdown is in place. For now, I am committed to doing it till the month of April. If the lockdown gets pushed further, I will keep doing it.” She added that everyone should be doing their bit, especially during this time.
