Rakul Preet Singh as Item Girl

Rakul Preeth Singh, who returned to Bollywood, will be seen playing a pivotal role in the upcoming Hindi movie Marjaavaan. She is going to shake her leg on an item number. She has turned as an Item girl for the song in the movie. Recently, the filmmakers have released the dance number from Marjaavaan, titled Haiya Ho.

In the song, she is seen wooing Sidharth Malhotra’s character, Raghu, in a bar. She is performing in a modified white sari which also has stills of Raghu crying for his mute girlfriend, which was essayed by Tara Sutaria.

This song is a recreation of the iconic song in Feroz Khan starrer Dayavan, which was shot in late Vinod Khanna, Feroz Khan, and Ramya Krishna. The moviemakers said that the song is about love and loss. The actress rehearsed a lot with choreographer Adil Shaikh.

The lyrics and music are by Tanishq Bagchi. Previously, the moviemakers have released the trailer of the movie and the response for it was very good. Marjaavaan movie is all about an eternal love story which has high octane action scenes set in the backdrop.

The movie has Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles, which was directed by Milap Zaveri, the film Marjaavaan will hit the screens on 15th November.
