Ram Charan Completes 18 Years, New Mass Poster of Peddi Unveiled

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, one of India’s biggest film icons, has completed 18 successful years in the film industry. To celebrate this milestone, the makers of his upcoming Pan-India project Peddi unveiled a striking new poster that has taken fans by storm. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, the film promises to be a powerful rural drama with raw emotions and gripping intensity.
The poster features Ram Charan in a rugged avatar—sporting a beard, holding a beedi, and walking on a railway track with a backpack. This rustic look, far removed from his usual polished style, hints at the film’s earthy tone and strong emotional base. The actor will reportedly appear in multiple avatars throughout the movie, reflecting a wide range of emotions. His dedication to physical transformation and training underlines his commitment to the role.
Adding grandeur to the project, Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is onboard as music director, with the first single set to release soon. The ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside seasoned actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Top technicians such as cinematographer R. Rathnavelu and National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli are also part of the crew.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being made on a massive budget, highlighting its Pan-India ambition. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
The announcement poster not only excites fans but also reflects Charan’s journey—from a debutant in Chirutha to becoming a global star with RRR. Peddi is expected to be another milestone in his illustrious career.
