Ram Pothineni's Red Gets Whistle Actress

Young and beautiful Tamil actress Amrita Aiyer has impressed the movie lovers with her awesome performance in Vijay starrer blockbuster entertainer Bigil. She recently signed an upcoming Tollywood project. Amrita has been approached for Ram Pothineni starrer upcoming action-entertainer 'Red' to play the female lead role.

According to the latest update, Amrita has been roped in to play one of the three female leads in Ram Pothineni’s upcoming cop thriller. This movie marks Amrita's debut in Telugu Film Industry. The film also features Nivetha Pethuraj and Malvika Sharma as female leads.

Ram Pothineni's Red is a Telugu remake of Tamil film ‘Thadam’. But according to the moviemakers, they have made changes to the script and only the soul of the film has been retained. Ram Pothineni’s uncle Sravanthi Ravikishore is bankrolling the movie under Sravanthi movies banner, and it is being directed by Kishore Tirumala. Whereas it has the music by veteran singer, Mani Sharma. The makers are planning to release the upcoming cop thriller on 9th April 2020.

Amrita Aiyer made her film debut the Malayalam film Padmavyooham. She entered Tamil Industry with the film Padaiveeran, where she played the role of Malar. Later the actress was seen playing one of the female leads in Vijay Antony starrer Kaali.
