Replica of TTD shrine in Amravati

A replica of popular hill shrine of Tirumala is proposed to construct at Amravati with 150 crore budget. "Bhukarshanam" (ploughing of the earth) was held on Thursday in a traditional process.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated in ‘Bhukarshanam’ and ‘Beejaavapanam’ ceremony which has taken place in ‘Meena Lagnam’ between 9.15am to 9.40am in Venkatapalem

Chandra Babu said Amravati will become a popular religious place just like Tirupati. He said he was blessed to perform pooja in Amravati.

Speaking about TTD, Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue, endowments minister K E Krishnamurthy that he is unhappy with TTD authorities as they behave in their own way.

We have some constraints with TTD as endowment officials never care for higher authorities, he told.
