Later, in strange circumstances, Gautham decides to bear the baby himself despite having a great hatred for children. What compelling rationale did Gautham have for making such a risky choice? The society's and parents' responses are a key turning point.
On screen Performances
In the assigned intentional and performance-oriented role, Sohel gives an excellent performance. It is admirable that the actor in him plainly presided over the film in a positive manner.
His acting and facial emotions in the poignant parts give the action dimension. On-screen heroine Roopa Koduvayur is adorable and vivacious. She delivered her act in a very stunning way. Her heartfelt portrayal of a mother gives the second half of the story dimension.
Despite having a small screen presence, Suhasini Maniratnam, Harsha Chemudu, and Brahmaji are outstanding in their significant parts.
Off-screen talents:
First first, while the film offers a unique concept, a more compelling presentation would have benefited the picture. In order to make the movie more emotionally charged, debutant director Srinivas Vinjanampati may have worked even harder on the scene order during the scripting stage. The movie's emotional theme, which examines the idea of motherhood (or fatherhood? ), may have been handled with an original plot in an interesting way.A few passages were made tolerable by the language and music writers, but overall, the director's performance lacks impact.
Despite this being his first film, Srinivas successfully gets across the point. The film's ambiance is enhanced by Shravan Bharadwaj's music, which also lifts a few sequences. Nizar Shafi's cinematography is adequate. Although Prawin Pudi's editing is adequate, it could be better. Outstanding dialogue is delivered by Chalamaji during the climax. Excellent production values.
Positive Aspects
Unique storyline
Emotional scenes
Negative Aspects
Screenplay would have been even better
Presentation is uneven at parts
Overall Verdict:
Mr. Pregnant is, in general, an emotional drama that works in spots. The premise is original, and the principal actors give strong performances, yet the movie lacks coherence throughout. If the film had a compelling narrator in addition to a tight screenplay, it would have been well worth seeing. Despite its flaws, the movie is worth seeing once to witness the team's honest effort.
