Rishab Shetty and others remuneration for Kantara revealed

Movie maker and actor Rishab Shetty’s latest movie ‘Kantara‘ won the hearts of the Indian movie lovers and turned out a blockbuster at the box office.
Apart from directing Kantara, Rishab Shetty also essayed the lead role. Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, the film Kantara follows a Kambala champion, essayed by Rishab Shetty, who comes to loggerheads with upright Forest Range officer, Murali (Kishore).
The film, Kantara was made on the budget of Rs 16 Cr and earned more than Rs 400 Cr worldwide and Rishab Shetty was paid Rs 4 Cr for his work as the lead actor and director of the movie.
Pramod Shetty who essayed the role of Sudharaka in Kantara, received Rs 60 lakh as his fees and Kishore, who played the role of Forest Officer received Rs 1 Cr as remuneration and the actress Saptami Gowda was paid Rs 1 Cr and Achyuth Kumar who essayed the role of main antagonist and was paid Rs 40 lakh.
It was reported early that Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth gifted actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty a gold chain and locket over the success of Kantara and he had called Rishab Shetty for a personal meet at his Chennai residence where he bestowed him with a gold chain and a gold locket.
