The young and happening hero of Tollywood, Vijay Deverakonda is going through a struggling phase in his filmy career. His previous offering WFL (World Famous Lover), which was released on Valentine’s Day, failed to impress the fans and the audience, was a dud at the box office and currently the actor is working with Puri Jagannadh for a film Fighter

The shoot of the upcoming film was started in Mumbai and has been halted due to outbreak of Coronovirus. Now as per the latest buzz in the film circles, the young actor will be seen as the son of a powerful don. Director, Puri Jagannadh uncovered that the story of the action drama Fighter, which revolves around the don and his son.

The upcoming film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, which is touted to be a bilingual Telugu- Tamil drama, Fighter has Ananya Pandey as female lead. Senior actress Ramya Krishna will be seen in a key role in the movie which is jointly bankrolled by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur.

Fighter will mark Ananya Pandey’ debut in Tollywood. Few months ago, Vijay Deverakonda, who is best known for movies such as Arjun Reddy and Dear Comrade, took the boxing lessons to play his part to perfection. As per the sources, he will be sporting long hair in Fighter.
