Saaho director Sujeeth Opens Up On Saaho response

Saaho is one of the most awaited films in recent times. Post Baahubali, this is the only film that has created such a buzz in the media and general audience. Saaho has earned more than Rs 350 crore since its release on August 30. However, the film is getting panned by the critics for being illogical and pointless. Despite the huge hype going around the film before its release, the film got mixed reviews from critics and even fans.

This is echoed in director Sujeeth's recent social media post. The young director shared a long emotional post about his journey from being a 17-year-old short filmmaker to becoming the director of Saaho. In the post, he even admitted that 'some expected more' from Saaho.

During an interview with Deccan Chronicle, he spoke about the negativity around, He said, " I made the film that Prabhas sir, my producers, and I believed in. The audiences came in large numbers to watch it, but still, I am being treated as harshly as if I have committed a crime. I don't know why all these reports targeting me are being published. I last gave interviews one day after the release of the movie. Even when I say 'no comments', it is turned into an interview. And those quotes are now being used against me."

He further added, there are people like producers and actor Prabhas, who are supporting him. "I should be enjoying the film's success, but instead I am sick in bed. Fortunately for me, Prabhas sir and the producers are supporting me. That's the only good thing happening in my life right now. Seeing all the criticism, I decided to keep quiet and still, all these negative things are being said about me, "
