Sadhguru Appreciated The KCR Govt's Efforts To Improve The Farm Sector

IT and Industries Minister KTR expressed concern that an agricultural crisis could ensue if the BJP govt does not take urgent steps to make the farming profitable. He reminded us that the Central Government that promised to double the income of farmers in India failed to achieve that goal.
Responding to him, spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev praised the efforts of Telangana state to improve the farm sector.
Sadhguru and KTR were in a dialogue at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Sadhguru has been conducting awareness programs around the world under the name 'Save Soil'. He called upon the govt, corporates, and people to join the campaign to protect agricultural lands; so that they can produce the food required for the coming generations.
Sadhguru opined that the world's arable lands were in danger of extinction in the next 2 to 3 decades.
K T Rama Rao briefed about the various environmental initiatives taken up by the State Government, such as Haritha Haram- to increase the green cover in Telangana. He also explained the revolutionary support programme like Rythu Bandhu to boost agricultural production. He also mentioned Rythu Vedika- to bring farmers under one platform and help them get higher returns. Further Rythu Bima- for appointment of agricultural extension officers and insurance.
KTR also invited Sadhguru to Hyderabad for the Save Soil Rally
