Salman Khan’s Surprise Cameo in Raja Shivaji Leaves Fans Thrilled
Salman Khan has once again grabbed attention, this time with a powerful cameo in the historical drama Raja Shivaji. Despite months of secrecy, fans had speculated about his appearance in Raja Shivaji, directed by Riteish Deshmukh. Their guesses proved right when clips surfaced online showing Salman in a striking avatar—wearing an orange turban, kurta, and wielding a sword.
In the film, Salman reportedly portrays Jiva Mahala, a loyal warrior in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, played by Riteish himself. His dramatic entry has gone viral, with fans praising his commanding screen presence. Social media platforms, especially X, were flooded with reactions. Many users called his cameo the highlight of the film, with one comment humorously stating that Salman’s entry overshadowed the entire movie.
Interestingly, Riteish revealed that the cameo wasn’t initially planned. During a casual New Year gathering, Salman expressed curiosity about the film and insisted on being part of it. His enthusiasm and emotional connection to the story led to a special role being created for him.
Produced by Jio Studios along with Genelia Deshmukh under Mumbai Film Company, Raja Shivaji is an ambitious project exploring the early life of Shivaji Maharaj and his mission to establish Swarajya. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, and others in pivotal roles.
