Sardar Pre-Release Event Highlights
The pre-release event for the Telugu version of Tamil hero Karthi’s upcoming movie, Sardar, took place in Hyderabad, for which Nagarjuna was the chief guest and the film is helmed by PS Mithran, and has Rajisha Vijayan and Raashi Khanna as the leading actresses, while Laila will be seen in a crucial role in the movie.
Karthi surprised everyone by singing one of Nagarjuna’s most popular song, Kannullo Nee Rupame, and said that he’s always loved and admired king Nagarjuna and said that the main reason he said okay to being a part of Oopiri was because the star actor was a part of the movie.
He said that he was very much inspired by what he had said to Filmfare magazine when he was in 10th class. He stated that being a good person is more important than being an actor, and that is something that he’s lived by ever since.
He said that Nagarjuna inspired and taught him while shooting for the film Oopiri, and that he will always be close to his heart. The actor also thanked Nagarjuna for releasing Sardar under the Annapurna Pictures banner and said that he hopes the audience and movie lovers will like the movie, which is set to be released on Oct 21st.
Nagarjuna said that he is proud of presenting the film, Sardar in Telugu and expressed confidence in the fact that the fans would like the movie. He said that Karthi is a very rare actor, who carved a name for himself in film industry, by stepping out of the shadow of his brother Suriya, who is a Superstar. He said that people like Karthi are very rare, and that it’s only Pawan Kalyan in Telugu and Puneeth Rajkumar in Kannada that have been able to do that, apart from Karthi in Tamil industry.
