Senior Comedian Venu Madhav Passed Away

Venu Madhav, the famous Telugu comedian, after a prolonged illness, he took his last breath on Wednesday at 12.20 PM. He was a great comedian, he worked in more than 150 movies and he took part in the politics as well, he evinced interest in contesting the Assembly elections and even filed nomination papers from Kodad assembly constituency.

Venu Madhav was admitted in Yashoda hospital on Tuesday in Secundrabad. As per the reports Venu was under treatment for a long time and was advised to undergo a liver transplant surgery. He was suffering from multiple health issues, liver cirrhosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney issues for which he was undergoing dialysis. The hospital staff and the family officially confirmed that the actor was dead at 12.21 pm on Wednesday.

Yashoda Hospital PRO Sampath said, “Venu Madhav was brought to Yashoda Hospital on Tuesday evening and was availing treatment. The actor was known to be suffering from multiple health issues.”

He was born in Kodad in Suryapet district, he made his debut in Sampradayam in 1996, Venu Madhav has acted in around 170 movies over two decades. He was a mimicry artist in his early days and then tried his luck in films. In a short span of time, he rose to fame as a popular comedian with his brilliant performances in films like Master, Suswagatham, Tholi Prema and Thammudu.
