Shane Nigam Blacklisted From Films By KFPA

Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, who rose to fame with his maiden role in the 2016 film Kismath has been banned from the movies by the Kerala Film Producer’s Association(KFPA) due to the charges against him for ‘Indiscipline’. This 23-year old is a prodigal genius in terms of his acting skills and is a fast-growing actor.
This ban came after he was landed in controversies regarding the change in his hairstyle during the shoot of the film ‘Veyli’ which reportedly had made the film producer Joby George upset and he took the incident to the KFPA for showing Indiscipline. Apart from this, his three other movies were stopped overnight and he was blacklisted from the films by KFPA.
Talking about the ban, the president of KFPA said that change in the appearance, in this case as hairstyle, is a kind of showing indiscipline towards your co-actors and producers. Veyli and Quarbani have incurred a loss of 6 crores and for that Shane is responsible to pay for their losses. Not only this, but he also demanded more money to finish a dubbing scene from the film ‘Ullasam’ which is against the contract rules. The contract was fixed at 25 lakh rupees but he further demanded 20 lakh more rupees to his dubbing scene.
He also added, “The ban on Nigam is a warning to all. Everyone is speaking about the abuse of drugs at shooting locations. Police should inspect the locations as well as caravans of actors. Drug abuse is one of the reasons for indiscipline”.
