Sharukh's Jawan Movie review

Finally, Jawan Day has arrived! All that has been on the internet for the past few days—in fact, months—is the Jawan movie, starring Shah Rukh Khan. King Khan's second major release of 2023 makes it seem as though the year is his. Atlee's Jawan, which has shows starting at six in the morning and record-breaking advance reservations, is expected to be the biggest movie of the year. Is Jawan deserving of the hype as it opens today and every SRK fan is in a festive mood?

Vikram Rathore and his son Azad are the subjects of the Atlee-written and -directed film starring Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan performed both roles. Azad is a messiah who has promised to right the wrongs that the system has done to those who have suffered.

Azad is a man who everyone would like, whether it's stopping farmer suicides or persuading the health minister to bend over. His father is Vikram Rathore, and their transformation into world heroes has a moving backstory. Police officer Nayanthara marries Azad. Azad's Army is composed of Sanya Malhotra, Leher Khan, Sangeeta Bhattacharya, among others.

The bad guy is Vijay Sethupathi, a successful businessman and a dealer in weapons. The narrative includes a cameo from Deepika Padukone, who plays Azad's mother. Sanjay Dutt plays an intriguing part in the movie and also makes a long cameo appearance.

What's trendy?

There is no greater motivation for a devoted Shah Rukh Khan fan than the actor himself. He is unique. Shah Rukh Khan has a charisma that captivates everyone, in contrast to other action heroes who are solely about muscle and appearance. He has a screen presence like no other, and he has the charm that no one can beat. It is a big treat for fans of Shah Rukh Khan because he has two roles to portray in the movie. You'll have to whistle for him when he plays the older Vikram Rathore; he's terrific as Azad, a jail warden turned messiah. Jawan is packed with drama and action, just like the trailer suggested.

Atlee has made sure to jam-pack the movie with insane action scenes that have a Southern flair, giving it a raw, gritty image. Every time Vikram Rathore or Shah Rukh Khan punched a man in the face, the audience erupted in cheers and whistles. In addition to the excitement and action, there is a splash of humour, and we all know how talented Shah Rukh Khan is at it. He's demonstrated his 'baap' status as an entertainer yet again. Or perhaps he is the MUFASA. Vijay Sethupathi appears less in the first half of the movie than in the second, which he dominates.

The fact that the producers kept it authentic and did not hire a different person to dub for him is what I enjoyed the most about him. He has a South Indian accent. Despite his scary appearance, every movie villain fails to impress the hero. Nayanthara has a terrific part to play, and she gets along well with Shah Rukh Khan. She wisely chose her Bollywood first movie. Sanjay Dutt is the one who brings the surprise. We won't spoil the twist, but he portrays a cop who is asked to negotiate with the hijackers.

Regarding the background score, Anirudh Ravichander's music gave Jawan a new flow and feel. One of the key factors contributing to the success of the Shah Rukh Khan-starring movie is its powerful message. Men in military also undoubtedly have a certain something.

Why not?

The songs should have been much better, but the background score gives Jawan its fire. Apart from Chaleya, which features Shah Rukh Khan at his most passionate, the other songs don't sound catchy enough. It's a somewhat unbelievable tale, but masala performers are often like that! In the movie, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra appear to be underutilized actors. They could have given their characters in the movie a little bit more to do. However, Jawan is all Shah Rukh Khan.

Overall Verdict:

Jawan is a complete package that includes drama, action, thrills, and emotions. Jawan is for you if you have been missing out on authentic seeti maar fun.
