Shocking: TTD Darshan Tickets costs Rs 18000?

Did you remember buying TTD darshan tickets last time? How much it costs? Definitely, not in thousands right! But, two persons bought the darshan tickets for Rs 18000 each which really costs as two staff members in the chairman’s office promised a special protocol darshan. The incident has taken place five days ago but came into the limelight now, after the two persons who bought a ticket has registered a complaint against the staff who had cheated them!

According to a senior official, “two TTD staff members sold two VIP break darshan tickets promising the devotees top protocol darshan. But the devotees later realised that they were sent for a regular VIP break darshan without any special protocol and lodged a complaint against them.” The senior official name cannot be revealed as he told the things up on the condition of anonymity.

After knowing this, senior officials ordered special officer AV Dharma Reddy to take necessary action against the duo. The two staff members were transferred and further disciplinary action would be taken after the final report is out. TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, after coming into the position, has ordered temple administration to keep an eye on black marketing of darshan tickets, laddu prasadam and accommodation. And two members were caught now!

Black marketing has become common among the popular temples where devotees can spend any amount for the god’s grace! Cashing out the innocence of the people would be only stopped if temple administration and chairman work strictly and take necessary measures to avoid such things. Apart from black marketing, demanding the money from devotees is also said to be happening at popular temples and government should focus on it too!
