Skill Development Centre At Dandumalkapur: KTR

KT Rama Rao, Industries Minister, said the Skill Development Centre (SDC) at the Telangana Industrialists Federation MSME Green Industrial Park at Dandumalkapur, near the National Highway 65 on the Vijayawada route, will be operational by December.
The Dandumalkapur MSME Green Industrial Park covers 547 acres and can accommodate 589 MSME units. According to him, the park would provide direct employment for 20,000 people and indirect employment for 16,000 people.
“The TRS government is striving to improve employability of local youth by setting up skill development centre and also provide employment opportunities by establishing industrial parks,” Rama Rao tweeted.
A total of 200 units have begun construction of their production sites and are expected to go live by June of next year. About 30 units have already started production here.
With about Rs.236 crore, the industrial park has created power, water, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure. In addition to schools, commercial markets, entertainment zones, and other social infrastructure, the integrated township will span 194 acres.
Also visiting the industrial park recently were officials from Invest India and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
A drip irrigation system will be used to nurture about 40,000 saplings planted in the Industrial Park.
