Star Actor Slams Government!

Many state governments have already announced the opening of liquor shops from May 4th. Karnataka govt has gained Rs 45 crores in just a day. Needless to say, the government took this decision to improve its economy. Though it is dangerous to open liquor shops in this critical period, it seems the government’s priority is its income but not the lives of the people.
Though Indian government has taken several measures to stop spreading the Coronavirus, the single act of opening liquor shops made people lose trust in government. The government however ordered people to maintain social distancing. But, at many places, people crossed the rule.
Many actors too responded on the issues and expressed their opinions on it. Kamal Haasan is well-known for expressing his opinions strongly on social media. Now, he slammed the Tamil Nadu government for planning to open the liquor shops from May 7th. He said that this decision taken by government costs many lives.
Meanwhile, the lockdown has been extended to May 17th with several relaxations which include opening hospitals and liquor shops as well. Opening of hospitals is essential but to speak about opening the liquor shops, there is no single person supporting it!
