Starting December 15, TSRTC will commence the operation of e-Metro AC buses in Hyderabad.
Starting December 15, the Greater Hyderabad zone of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is set to introduce a fleet of eight e-Metro AC buses that will operate along the Secunderabad–Patancheru route. This new service is designed to enhance connectivity between these two locations, catering to the commuting needs of residents and reducing travel times.
The buses are scheduled to traverse key areas such as Paradise, Bowenpally, Balanagar, and Kukatpally, offering a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for passengers. The frequency of the e-Metro AC buses will be every 24 minutes, ensuring regular and timely services for commuters.
According to RTC officials, the first bus from Secunderabad will commence its route at 6:10 am, providing an early morning option for passengers, while the last bus of the day will depart at 8:28 pm. Similarly, for those traveling from Patancheru, the service will kick off at 7:45 am with the last bus departing at 10:03 pm, catering to a range of commuting preferences and schedules.
This initiative reflects the commitment of TSRTC to modernize and upgrade its services, incorporating eco-friendly and advanced technology solutions. The introduction of e-Metro AC buses not only contributes to a greener environment but also aims to offer a more comfortable and sustainable public transportation option for the citizens of Hyderabad. As the service begins its operations, it is anticipated to play a pivotal role in enhancing urban mobility and connectivity within the city.
