Still No Clue On Telangana Techie Shot Dead In The US.

A 25-year-old man of Indian origin, identified as Sai Charan Nakka found injured inside a SUV after sustaining an apparent gunshot wound to his head, has died, as per officials in the US state of Maryland.

Nakka was taken to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Centre, where he was announced dead a little later, the report said. The software engineer has been working with a company in Baltimore city of, Maryland, for the last 2 years.

US Police have launched a homicide investigation following Nakka's death. Additional details about the incident were not clear. His friends in the US informed Nakka's family. His parents and other family members were shocked to receive the information. His father N Narasimha and mother Padma remaining inconsolable after hearing about their son's death.

After completing his MS course, he has been working there in Maryland for the past 6 months. His son had spoken to them last Friday.

"We put a message to him on Saturday (asking) How are you Sai. But there was no response. We thought it may be due to his work he did not reply," a teary-eyed Padma said.

Gun violence is a major cause of premature death in the US. Guns kill over 38,000 people and cause approximately 85,000 injuries each year, according to the American Public Health Association.
