Students can apply for free re-verification - KCR

Intermediate students who failed can apply for free re-verification. The statement was given by Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

The decision is taken by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education. After declaring results 10 students committed suicide last week, also many of the parents and students protest against TBIE and Government.

On Wednesday two students committed suicide, then KCR discussed with higher officials about the situation.

Students who passed the examination and apply for re-verification will be as per prevailing norms and conditions of TBIE. However, re-verification or re-counting process needs to be finished as soon as possible keeping in upcoming supplementary examination schedule and next academic year.

Education Secretary B. Janardhan Reddy has given the responsibility for the process.

KCR expressed that it is shocking that many students committed suicide and failing in intermediate is not the end of life, asked students do not commit suicide.
