Sukumar to Direct Telugu 'Lucifer'!

Ever since Chiranjeevi revealed that he bought the remake rights of Malayalam super hit film Lucifer, his fans are excited to know more about the film.Ram Charan will produce the film under Konidela Productions. Also, Ram Charan got enough confidence with Sye Raa's success that he can produce a film successfully. And now, another interesting news is doing rounds on social media.

According to the sources, director Sukumar is helming the project. Chiranjeevi searched for the perfect director to make Lucifer a perfect remake. And then, he thought that Sukumar is apt for it. Chiru has got confidence after watching Sukumar's 'Rangasthalam', which is a super hit. The film is expected to go on floors from next year.

Lucifer, the original film, stars Mohanlal as the lead. Prithviraj Sukumaran directed the film while Antony produced it under Aashirvad Cinemas. The film has collected Rs 150 crores in 21 days, making the film the first highest grosser in Malayalam. The film has also dubbed into Telugu but failed to impress the audience here. We have to see if people will accept this remake film if Megastar do the same!
