Surprise GST Raid on Lavanya Tripati

The Officials from the Directorate General of GST Intelligence conducted raids on several businesses, including those of actress Lavanya Tripathi, for alleged tax evasion. As per the sources, Lavanya, who has acted in several Telugu movies, had allegedly evaded GST on a business transaction worth Rs 20 lakhs. The raids were done on one of Lavanya Tripathi’s rented house in Banjara Hills.

The sources also say that GST officials conducted a raid at 23 locations in Hyderabad. These were conducted in various sectors including the entertainment, media houses, financial services, consultancy, infra companies, and fitness centers.

When they conducted the raids, she was away from her residence. In the presence of her staff, the officials had verified the payments made by the actress.

The actress entered the film industry in 2012, with the film, Andala Rakshasi. Later she was seen in many movies, some of her popular movies are Bale Bale Magadivoy, Chalien School, Bramman, Doosukeltha, Antariksham 9000 km/h, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Yuddham Sharanam. She was last seen in recently released film Arjun Suravaram, running successfully at the box office.
