The film is set in 1846, where the Britishers were troubling Indians and taking away all their hard earned income. But, people in Renadu, Rayalaseema didn’t fear for British Raj, as they have the support of Narasimha Reddy (Chiranjeevi) who stands against Britishers. How did he support Indians? How did he fight against Britishers? What happens in the end? Forms the remaining story.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Review:
The performance of every actor is stunning as it is very hard, even for critics, to find faults! Chiranjeevi has lived in the role of Uyyalawada and there is no doubt that people feel no other actor will suit the role except Megastar. He played very well in emotional scenes and fights. Climax scene is the highlight and Chiru made people cry! Nayanthara as Uyyalawada’s wife is apt. Tamannaah in a sacrificing role performed amazing. Her expressions are terrific. Amitabh Bachchan is good as a guru. Kichcha Sudeep is good as a jealous king while Vijay Sethupathi’s performance is quite impressive.
Coming to the technical side, Surender Varma’s hard work is clearly seen on the screen. He has put his heart and soul into the film and the credits should also be given to producer Ram Charan who has worked hard for two years. The cinema work by Rathnavelu is stunning as the VFX scenes are showcased in a superb manner. Editing is good. Music for the songs by Amit Trivedi is good but it is Julius Packium’s background score that elevated the fight scenes. Sushmita has designed superb costumes for everyone. The dubbed done for Britishers is very natural.
