TDP's Nara Lokesh Accuses MLA and Police of Creating Chaos in Palnadu
Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has raised serious concerns about the deteriorating situation in the Palnadu region of Andhra Pradesh. He alleges that the area is resembling a "wild kingdom," with troubling incidents coming to light.
One such incident occurred in the Macharla constituency, where Lokesh claims that MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is behaving like the leader of a private army, targeting vulnerable sections of society. In another unsettling incident in Veldurthi, a police officer named SI Srihari allegedly pressured fishermen sympathetic to the TDP to join another group, resulting in a tragic event. A person named Durga Rao took his own life after relentless harassment over a sum of money.
Lokesh expressed his deep disappointment with the police department, accusing them of falsely implicating Durga Rao and driving him to suicide. He strongly condemned the pervasive violence and extreme trends in the region, emphasizing that such situations are uncommon elsewhere in the country. Lokesh also issued a stern warning to officers like SI Srihari, whom he holds responsible for the death of a BC's brother, cautioning them to be prepared for consequences when a new government takes charge in the near future.
