TDP's Vision for Andhra Pradesh's Development: A Path towards Progress
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) underscores its commitment to fostering growth and prosperity in Andhra Pradesh, emphasizing its strategy of leveraging asset creation to fund welfare initiatives. General Secretary Nara Lokesh highlighted the party's track record, noting the transformation achieved under the leadership of N. Chandrababu Naidu. Despite facing challenges, including a zero revenue base in 2014, the TDP government successfully implemented numerous welfare schemes by harnessing revenue generated from its assets over the past five years.
Speaking at the 'Breakfast with Lokesh' event in Atmakur Mid Valley City, Lokesh criticized Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's policies, alleging they have regressed the state's development by three decades. He called for the involvement of intellectuals and educated individuals in politics, emphasizing the detrimental impact of Jagan's three-capital plan and pledging to prioritize the development of Amaravati while pursuing a decentralized approach.
Assuring citizens of the TDP's comprehensive plan for state development, Lokesh outlined initiatives to attract industries, create jobs, and double state revenue. He also highlighted the alliance's commitment to enhancing welfare programs upon assuming power. The event was attended by prominent TDP and Jana Sena Party leaders, underscoring the unity and vision of the coalition.
