TRS Leader Attempts Suicide

A Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader tried to hang himself as he fails to get the ticket for municipal elections to be held on January 22.
The actual reason for committing suicide is that he was being denied the ticket to the municipal elections after the ruling party decided to not allow him to contest for the upcoming municipal elections. However, the ones around him responded immediately and succeeded in saving him.
TRS leader identified as Abdul Raheem was expecting the ticket from Ward No 39 of Suryapet District and he had a strong dominion over the region. But his hopes turned into ashes soon after he got the news that the wards ticket has been allotted to a lady named Sudharani.
The last date for filing nominations was 10 January with the last date for withdrawal of candidature is January 14 (up to 3 p.m) and the final list of contesting candidates would be published on the same day after 3 p.m. A total of 21,850 nominations was filed across the state with the highest number of 2,392 nominations were filed for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Rangareddy district.
