TRS Wins Telangana Panchayat Elections

TRS proved once again that it is the only strongest party in Telangana by winning Panchayat elections.

The party has won in 60 per cent villages, while Congress won 20% and TDP, BJP, other parties and independents) won the remaining.

According to the official data, the total polling percentage in the third phase is 88.3% while Yadadri-Bhongir and Khammam district registered the highest polling percentage at 94.99% and 94% respectively. On the other side, Jagitial recording lowest at 77.7%.

Elections were held in 12,682 panchayats of the total 12,751 panchayats as some are in legal issues.

The TRS won in over 7,600 panchayats and it believed that the schemes of them like Rythu Bandhu, Asara, and Rythu Bhima fetched them good points in this elections.
