Vijay Devarakonda’s Taxiwala after creating a buzz, has released on Saturday (17th November). After the failure of ‘Nota’, Vijay seems very confident with ‘Taxiwala’. Let’s check the review of this film now.
Cast: Vijay Deverakonda, Priyanka Jawalkar, Malavika Nair
Director: Rahul Sankrityan
Taxiwala Story:
Shiva (Vijay Devarakonda) is a jobless graduate who comes to Hyderabad for livelihood. But he failed to get a suitable job and buys an old car and becomes a cab driver. Later, weird things start happening in the car which threatens Shiva. Feeling scared, Shiva tries to dispose the car to save himself from the danger. What’s the story behind the car? What weird things are happening in the car? How Vijay escapes from danger forms the rest of the story.
Taxiwala Review:
Rahul Sankrityan should be appreciated for his unique story line with nice comedy, emotions, horror, and thrills. Vijay looks dashing as a cab driver and his performance is simple and grabs the attention of the audience. Heroine Priyanka looks beautiful and the chemistry between duo worked well.
Second heroine Malavika Nair got a crucial role. Madhu, Chammaka Chandra and other comedians evoked decent laughs. But the editing can be done even better as the flash back scene can be easily reduced for a few minutes.
Production values by SKN are decent as the film has interesting night visuals. Production design and cinematography are good. Back ground music is awesome as it gives a good feel to the audience.
What’s Good:
- Direction
- Story Line
- Production values
- Lead actors performance
- Horror and comedy
- BGM
What’s Okay:
- Editing
What’s Bad:
- Nothing to say
Verdict: Overall, Taxiwala is engaging horror comedy which doesn’t make you feel bored even for a few minutes. The science fiction concept along with horror comedy will be interesting for everyone. As there are no other good films this weekend, you can go for it without any doubt!
